- Create and maintain monthly boat fleet and budget reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze the boat fleet and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborate with the boat maintenance team to forecast resource requirements and make data-driven decisions for fleet optimization.
- Develop and implement budget planning strategies to optimize resource allocation and control costs.
- Prepare and present regular fleet and budget reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improving fleet and budget performance.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of our barge preventative maintenance (PM) program.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support cost-saving measures and minimize disruption to services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for improving fleet efficiency and reducing costs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in using fleet management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in analyzing and reporting data.
- Sound knowledge of maritime regulations, industry trends, and best practices in fleet management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
