Job Description:

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is looking to hire a Service Desk Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional IT support services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. This position will be located in Hampton, VA.

Responsibilities:

Respond to tickets and incidents promptly, prioritizing critical issues and ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Provide end user troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, delivering solutions with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Perform desktop and laptop support, including system configuration, installation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience with IT support roles, with expertise in ticket/incident response, end user troubleshooting, and desktop/laptop support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with end users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
