    Clinical Supervisor
    A Beautiful Mind Certified Mental Health Center is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to work in our Chicago office.


    Position Summary The Clinical Supervisor directs and manages an effective clinical service delivery team using applicable principles of Social Work and/or Counseling which include - patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities The clinical supervisor will support primary care and behavioral health providers in managing patient mental health care with the following responsibilities:

    Supports evaluation of program services to enhance patient outcomes and acts as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives to increase quality patient care.

    Conducts assessment of each patient's psychosocial status and functioning in an effort to document history and identify preliminary items for the treatment plan.

    Facilitates the overall development and implementation of a comprehensive, individualized plan of treatment in conjunction with other treatment team members.

    Incorporates the patient's psychosocial functioning and strengths in the plan of care.
    Provides and/or arranges for therapeutic intervention as appropriate for clients in a crisis situation.
    Follows up to determine reliability and validity of treatment used; makes recommendations regarding modification to services and service delivery.
    Prepares and maintains reports and case histories.
    Evaluate and sign off on clinicians' SOAP notes.

    Consults with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff, as appropriate, in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework: refers clients to appropriate service agencies as required.

    Attends staff meetings and team conferences; leads team meetings.
    Participates in, leads and/or coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills.

    Maintains current knowledge base on counseling issues regarding psychosocial disorders through conferences, educational requirements for licensure, and applicable current literature.

    Required Knowledge, Education, Experience or

    Licensure/Registration

    Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
    Must be a licensed LCSW, LSW, LPC, or LCPC
    Positive attitude and open approach to clients, staff, and visitors
    Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
    No

    suspension/exclusion/debarment

    from participation in federal health care programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid)
    Experience in delivering high-quality, client-centered care
    Proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    Ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary team
    Excellent organization skills, including the ability to work productively and make independent decisions

    This position is a full time role and will be 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
    40hrs per week
