- Responsible for the patient check-in process, updating computer patient personal information and insurance information, handling a multi-line phone system, medical records filing and maintenance, and collection of co-pays and cash payments.
- Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
- Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
- Scans documents into electronic health record.
- Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments throughout the day.
- Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
- Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
