As part of the US Oncology Leadership team, you will report to Head of US Oncology and working with US Oncology Leadership, Commercial teams & other Operations stakeholders.How you will contribute:

  • Strategy & Business Operations Lead is a critical leadership role in the US Oncology BU and is responsible for the US OBU strategy as well as building, acquiring and overseeing capabilities that contribute to Takeda Oncology's performance and operational excellence. The Strategy & Business Operations Lead will report directly to the Head of US Oncology Business Unit and act as their primary advisor and point person. Strategy & Business Operations Lead will be an active member of the US Oncology Leadership Team (US OLT) and drive the Takeda Oncology strategy and operations.
  • Strategy & Business Operations Lead will lead business operations team and is responsible for overseeing and continuously improving the systems, platforms, and workflows supporting USOBU Marketing and Business Operations, including advertising and promotional materials review (MRL), meetings and events, sponsorships & marketing engagements, field and fleet services.The incumbent is responsible for oversight and management of the Marketing Operations Effectiveness, Fulfilment & Agency, Platforms & Data, and Integrity Document Coordination processes and teams. This role will play a key role in transforming operations into a more digital function leveraging AI, allowing for MLR of modular content implementing a personalized content engine. This role will partner with Commercial teams & other Operations stakeholders to understand business objectives and strategic priorities and how-to best support through operational platforms, metrics, and program management.
  • This position is responsible for developing and ensuring execution of strategic plans, projects, and commitments which drive operational efficiencies and connectivity across the unit. Additionally, this role is responsible for keeping the Head of USOBU apprised of key initiatives, providing project oversight and management of cross functional and key initiatives, and ensuring appropriate coordination and management of budgets and integrated project plans for the USOBU. Working side by side with the Head of USOBU and US-OLT, this role provides thought leadership, offering advice across a host of issues and, ideally, "speaking truth to power".
  • This position will provide leadership and guidance to ensure best practices and solutions are established to meet compliance policies.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant business experience required(business consultancy experience and commercial experience is highly preferred)
  • 5+ years experience project management, operations, and/or people leadership experience
  • Experience or Certifications in Project Management
  • Knowledge of Veeva and other related enterprise content management systems are preferred
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and communicate with senior level relationships across the company and externally
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong leadership and organizational skills, and able to drive multiple projects to successful, timely completion in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

For Location:Boston, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:$169, $266,200.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
