    Job Description

    Position & Client Overview:

    A 400-bed acute care hospital is seeking a contract CT Tech to work five 8-hour evening shifts. The CT Tech will be responsible for conducting a wide range of CT exams and may also serve as a lead, providing guidance and training to other team members.

    Weekly Pay: $2,457

    Job Summary:

    Reporting to the leadership team, the CT Technologist will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. They will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and delivering accurate diagnostic results. This role involves interacting with patients, preparing them for scans, and maintaining precise records of the procedures.

    Skill Requirements:

    • Order interpretation
    • Patient communication
    • Precise patient positioning
    • Administration of contrast dyes
    • Image quality evaluation
    • Medical record maintenance
    • Equipment maintenance
    • Supply management

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Conducting CT procedures
    • Assisting patients and addressing their inquiries
    • Ensuring proper radionuclide doses
    • Monitoring patient comfort
    • Reviewing imaging results
    • Documenting procedures accurately

    Education, Certification, & Experience:

    • BLS Certification
    • ARRT Certification
    • Advanced ARRT Certification
    • Minimum 2 years of experience
