    Description

    Trip Arc is looking for a talented Travel Advisor Learning & Development Platform Specialist to apply their adult learning skills to create dynamic, engaging content for travel advisors on the ADX booking platform. This individual will be responsible for creating a variety of learning solutions, including live training (virtual and in-person), eLearning, instructional video content, microlearning and other educational aids. You will work closely with other learning professionals, subject matter experts and business leaders across Trip Arc and the Navigatr Group.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Define learning outcomes that will fulfil our travel advisors learning needs.
    • Host webinars, virtual and in-person trainings to support & grow adoption of the ADX platform.
    • Apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods.
    • Incorporate exercises that will enhance the learning process (80% virtual & 20% in-person).
    • Supports in the creation of training(e-learning, video, microlearning) and conference content.
    • Offer editorial, creative and technical support for learning content, ensuring consistency and quality.
    • Provides support with the creation of collateral (e.g. PPT decks, project plans), as requested.
    • Be a subject matter expert on the functions and use cases of the ADX platform.

    Qualifications:

    • A combination of education and/or work 5 years suitable working experience.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working within the travel advisor industry or working directly with travel advisors and agencies either as a trainer, enablement team member, or similar role.
    • Experience creating and delivering training via webinars and in person (or a passion for learning how).
    • In depth knowledge of the travel industry, booking processes and basic air an asset when assisting travel advisors with known issues is a plus
    • Ability to engage audiences of various sizes, both via virtual and live delivery.
    • Must be process driven, possess strong communication skills, careful attention to detail, and have a solid understanding of client relationships.
    • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and incorporate feedback into the ongoing refinement of existing training programs.
    • Demonstrated comfort with technology and a willingness to self-study where required.
    • Excellent organization, planning and prioritization skills.
