    Lochner - learn more about us*This position has the flexibility to be hybrid and will report to our La Porte, IN or Indianapolis, IN officeYour impact:Experience in the design of concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, and related structures for INDOT (and other DOT clients) with the ability to oversee and assist in structural analyses, developing calculations, and preparing contract documents (PS&E) in accordance with state and local agency requirementsSelf-motivated candidate with a desire to work with a team of structural engineers in the preparation of design and contract documents for transportation structures projectsConduct site visits, assist in bridge inspection activities and perform other generally accepted responsibilities associated with the positionAdaptability to partner with Lochner offices throughout the firm through work-sharing to deliver projects on-time and within budgetExperience with the development of letters of interest, proposal development and fee justifications for clientsWho you are:BSCE is required, MSCE is preferredIndiana PE is requiredMust be in Indiana or willing to relocate within 6 months10+ years of DOT bridge design experience with preventative maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing steel and concrete bridges and plan preparation is required.
