    for a partnering company near

    Indianapolis, Indiana . Candidates will need a strong background in

    conveyor systems and tooling design . This client specializes in balancing and gauging equipment for wheel and tire balancing and uniformity.

    Temp to Perm

    Expected Pay Rate Range:
    $28-$41 per hour depending on experience and background

    Location:
    Indianapolis, Indiana


    Job Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

    Five years

    of experience in mechanical system design/coordination

    • Proficiency with
    Solidworks

    design software

    • Experience designing automated equipment or designing tools
    • Preferred candidates will have a strong background in
    AutoCAD and Inventor

    as well


    Job Duties:

    • Primarily
    designing conveyor systems, mechanisms to move and hold product test samples and sensors

    • Design equipment that utilizes roller and belt conveyors, belt and chain drives, air cylinders, and linear rails
    • Develop systems that include guarding systems to keep human operators safe
    • Partner with engineers from other disciplines to integrate automated controls systems and servo motors
    • Work with the fabrication department and installation team to ensure smooth commissioning and startup of systems
    • Recommend improvements or upgrades to design where required
