Are you ready to join us?*This position has the flexibility to be hybrid or remote and will report to our La Porte, IN or Indianapolis, IN officeResponsible for the development of highway and interstate bridge design projects for INDOT (and other DOT clients) in accordance with state and local agency requirements.
Direct and/or perform structural engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.Direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates (PS&E).Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, Department, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scopeAttends on-site and off-site client meetings throughout IndianaQualifications:BSCE is required, MSCE is a plusIndiana PE or ability to obtain one within 6 months is requiredMust be in Indiana or willing to relocate within 6 months6+ years of DOT bridge design experience with preventative maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing steel and concrete bridges and plan preparation is required.
