    Title: Business Development Analyst

    Start Date: Immediate

Hadley Capital is actively investing out of Hadley Capital Fund IV.

    Compensation: Commensurate with experience.

    Job Description: Hadley Capital seeks a Business Development Analyst for our Nashville office. This is a 2 to 3-year, pre-MBA program. The Business Development Analyst will focus on sourcing new investment opportunities by interfacing with investment bankers and other intermediaries representing small companies and direct outreach to business owners. This person will also support senior investment professionals in evaluating investment opportunities.

    Transaction Sourcing: Primary responsibility is to build and maintain relationships with sell-side intermediaries to ensure all targeted investment opportunities are shared with Hadley.

    • Develop existing and new intermediary relationships via outbound calling, in-person meetings and conferences, and digital business development strategies.
    • Tracking all investment opportunities in CRM system and managing internal processes to ensure timely internal and external follow-up.
    • Proactive participation in the creation of new strategies and processes to identify sources of actionable investment opportunities.
    • Support internal processes for developing and tracking proprietary investment opportunities.

    Transaction Evaluation: Work closely with senior partners on evaluating investment opportunities that are derived from transaction sourcing efforts.

    • Preliminary evaluation of investment opportunities that align with our strategy.
    • Support due diligence of more advanced investment opportunities.

    Requirements: The Business Development Analyst will meet the following requirements:

    • 1-3 years of business development experience in investment banking or buy-side environment (ideally with smaller companies).
    • Top performer within peer group.
    • Strong work ethic, internally motivated.
