    Description


    The role is responsible for an annual budget of over $30 million and oversees all financial operations of the agency, including accounting, compliance, financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, audits, risk management, and developing effective administrative procedures, policies, and internal controls.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is a key member of the executive leadership team.

    Job responsibilities

    • Oversees all financial operations of the agency, including accounting, compliance, financial reporting, payroll, budgeting, audits, risk management
    • Develops effective administrative procedures, policies, and internal controls
    • Prepares and presents financial reports for the Board of Directors
    • Oversees the human resources team
    • Provides oversight for all Agency Benefit Plans, including the Agency Health Plan (selfinsured), indirect Cost Allocation Plan, and 401(k) Retirement Plan

    Successful applicants must either be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or at a minimum have a baccalaureate degree in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field.

    A Master's Degree in a related field and nonprofit experience is preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and administration is required.

    The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong organizational and communication skills, demonstrated financial and program management abilities, and the ability to lead and inspire an experienced and dedicated team.

    A commitment to addressing the causes and conditions of poverty and hunger is essential.

    The salary range for this position starts at $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with 100% health, dental, and vision coverage for the employee, a generous paid time off package, retirement plan with 6% employer matching, and periodic Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA).
