Position Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Security Services Operations Manager to lead the operational management of Guard Security, Facilities Protective Services, and Emergency Management contracts.

Based in Greater Boston, Massachusetts, at our Charlestown office, this role offers an exciting opportunity to drive success in our Security segment through current and future contracts.


Responsibilities:


General:


  • Lead and mentor project managers and security leads across various onsite locations, ensuring high performance through ongoing assessments.
  • Serve as a trusted client liaison for multiple contracts at corporate, state, and federal levels, prioritizing exceptional customer service.
  • Implement and uphold specific contract Performance Work Statements (PWSs) or Statements of Work (SOWs), fostering teamwork and adherence to corporate policies.
  • Oversee employee timesheets, ensuring timely submissions for payroll while upholding professional and ethical integrity.
  • Drive financial targets and deliverables through effective planning, organization, and decisionmaking.
  • Foster employee engagement and development, setting clear goals and objectives for the team.
  • Ensure delivery of security services to customer satisfaction and contractual standards, conducting health & safety assessments and risk evaluations.

Security:


  • Maintain digital records for guard sites, ensuring consistent quality standards.
  • Supervise internal staff, including hiring, mentoring, and training.
  • Manage inventory, including arms and ammunitions, and enforce disciplinary standards.
  • Conduct regular visits to guard sites and provide Emergency Management expertise.

Emergency Management:


  • Develop and review Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs) and facilitate emergency response exercises.
  • Respond to realtime emergencies, such as severe weather occurrences, accidents, etc.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in security, Emergency Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of program management experience, demonstrating autonomy and initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.


  • Familiarity with FEMA

  • NIMS, COOP, and Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Business Unit Management or P&L ownership experience.
  • Understanding of FEMA National Response Framework and VTTX.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Familiarity with IT project management tools.
  • Background in security, law enforcement, or emergency management roles.
