Duties:


  • Develops longrange management plans for new or complex programs and efficient and effective operations of the organization.
  • Analyzes Academy Training Center (ATC) workflows and establishes procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
  • Conceives and implements new initiatives and projects to strengthen, facilitate, and integrate programs for office or program issues of broad impact.
  • Maintains primary responsibility for preparing, researching and forwarding changes in policies and procedures to ATC staff.
  • Maintains office files and directives of interest to the ATC management for archiving and for ready recall.

GS-12: You qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties:

  • Researching, developing, and coordinating long range management plans
  • Establishing procedures and workflows to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations
  • Composing a wide variety of correspondence on a myriad of topics
  • Managing projects requiring analyses and written reports, organizing special committees, workshops, or other gatherings
  • Maintaining and archiving office files and directives for ready reference
