    Description

    Our client, a consulting firm based in Chantilly, VA, provides a range of support services to government agencies. They are currently expanding and seeking a Principal Contracts Associate with active top-secret clearance to provide comprehensive support throughout all stages of the contract lifecycle, from award to closeout.

    What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role:

    • An active TS/SCI clearance, including CI Polygraph, is required
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least four years of experience are required
    • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Familiarity with EPX and NFIS systems is desired.

    • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract administration, including drafting, compiling data-call responses, generating reports, negotiation, and review.
    • Offer recommendations to Government personnel on contract matters and conduct market research to inform procurement decisions.
    • Analyze customer requirements to determine suitable contract types and methods, and draft related documentation.
    • Assist with negotiation preparation, contract close-out procedures, and contract terminations.
    • Address payment-related issues, identify indicators of fraud, and assess the validity of claims.
    • Collaborate with Government personnel to ensure compliance with regulations and contractual obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.
