Job Title:
Financial Analyst (DoD/Federal Government)

Location: Stafford, VA (Hybrid with Remote Work Flexibility)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 per year + Benefits

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, analysis, and execution of budgets in accordance with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system.

Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.

Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with program objectives.

Support the preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans.

Ensure compliance with federal regulations and contract requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred; Associate's degree will be considered with relevant experience.

6+ years of financial analysis experience, with at least 1-2 years of experience in the DoD/Federal Government sector.

Strong understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
