Description
This position serves as a Financial Management Analyst in the Finance Branch, S-4 Division, MCCOG and is immediately accountable to the Fiscal Officer, S-4.
Responsible for the formulation, evaluation, execution of financial administration, accounting, auditing, and budgetary functions for the MCCOG.Researches and interprets United States Marine Corps (USMC), Department of the Navy (DoN), Department of Defense (DoD), and federal accounting, auditing, budget, and financial policies, systems, and proposed system changes.
Identifies resource management needs not met by the prescribed system, recommends improvements in accounting, budget, and financial procedures or services, and submits systems change requests.
Advises other Financial Management Analysts, functional users, Program Directors and leadership on systems interfaces and implementation requirements.This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
