    Description
    Molecular Search are currently partnered with a West Coast based CDMO specializing in OSD manufacturing. They are looking for a senior leader to lead formulations in a cGMP facility. This candidate must have a strong chemistry background and 20+ years in Oral Solid Dosage.

    Job Summary
    The essential job function is to develop pharmaceutical dosage forms, with the main emphasis on Oral Solid Dose.

    It is also the responsibility of this position to lead, direct, and prioritize projects assigned to this position and associated formulation staff.

    Essential duties and Responsibilities
    The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    Serve as a technical representative and the lead formulation scientist on cross-functional project teams.

    Design and execute solid formulation development trials in the laboratory and facilities and evaluate stability data to finalize formulation composition and manufacturing process.

    Develop, evaluate, and optimize solid oral formulations and processes to meet target product profiles.

    Develop and identify new technologies that will enhance Company's product development objectives Assist Manufacturing and Quality Assurance departments in scale-up and production problems.

    Perform technology transfer to customer production sites and train/assist customer personnel in scale-up and production.

    Comply with all regulations as specified by OSHA, EPA, FDA, DEA, etc., and as defined in the Corporate Hygiene plan.

    Supervise formulation scientists and technicians and ensure their activities comply with company, departmental and cGMP regulations.
    Maintain excellent oral and written communication with customers and ensure customers' requirements are promptly met.

    Acts as the company's representative by showing respect and being ambassador for the established beliefs and behaviors of the Company.

    Qualifications

    Strong background in pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, modeling and simulation, Sterile formulation development, Novel drug delivery technology, and processing technologies in order to be able to invent, innovate and implement new ideas.
