- Visit Seattle CRM
- Maintain Convention Sales CRM data to ensure accuracy and integrity in liaison with Sales Systems Administrator.
- Sales Lead Management
- Verify and assign incoming leads.
- Audit and approve outgoing leads, definite bookings, lost business, and updates.
- Seattle Convention Center CRM - Back up for Systems Administrator
- Document conversation and feedback in Daily Business Review meetings. Input general space holds as requested.
- Release space holds for lost business and/or as directed by Account Directors.
- Refine space holds once an offer has been created by the convention center.
- Reporting
- Assist in preparing and distributing monthly convention sales booking reports.
- Assist in preparing convention sales reports for monthly VS and Seattle Convention Center (SCC) board meetings including coordination of presentation materials.
- Provide miscellaneous ad hoc reports as requested.
- New Hire Training
- Organize and facilitate Sales Systems training of all new Conventions team members, including on-going training needs, in liaison with Sales Systems Administrator.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
- Support Visit Seattle's DEI initiatives through daily activities and reporting.
- Help keep conventions collateral up to date by consulting on the front end with marketing team and sharing feedback.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with CRM systems such as Simpleview.
- Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language, English, used in the workplace.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Strong service approach with both internal and external customers.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong aptitude to work with others as part of a team.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Visit Seattle is now hiring for a Sales Systems Specialist. This position will serve as a point of contact for conventions team for CRM and reporting needs. This includes sales lead assignment and approvals, a backup for data needs, standards compliance, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and auditing under the direction of Senior Manager, Sales Systems Administrator. Assist in maintaining conventions sales data for organization and partner community. Review and approve client bids and components, organize and assist with on boarding and ongoing Sales Systems training for the conventions team, plus membership access to our data. Assist the sales team to achieve the room night goals and Visit Seattle service standards goals.
