    Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is currently seeking candidates for the position of Legal Analyst, Compliance until May 22nd at 11:59 PM Corporate Compliance Law is hiring a Legal Analyst, Compliance (paralegal) to provide support to Compliance counsel for Chevron's global businesses. This role offers paralegal support to the team of attorneys responsible for offering international trade, antibribery, and data privacy assistance to Chevron counsel and business unit representatives around the world. This role demands a skilled Legal Analyst who excels in legal research, contract reviews, manages various projects assigned by Compliance Counsel, and demonstrates strong leadership and influencing skills. The ideal candidate is an experienced Legal Analyst who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment, is tech-savvy, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should excel in problem-solving and show a high level of initiative. Responsibilities: This position involves performing paralegal tasks under the direction of attorneys, such as: - Reviewing and managing contract reviews for alignment with compliance clause requirements; - Collaborating with counsel and IT support to prepare document review protocols, conduct and manage document reviews, and monitor costs; - Assisting with the review of relevant trade documents for import/export compliance and antiboycott compliance; - Providing support to Trade Counsel for Free Trade Agreement campaign and other ongoing projects led by Compliance Counsel; - Researching various global antibribery and import/export requirements for Chevron's global business; - Managing compliance law websites to provide timely updates and assisting in managing counsels' iManage sites; - Ensuring continuity in document processing (desk manuals/procedures, version updates, etc.); - Supporting Chevron Compliance employees in legal hold responsibilities and information management understanding; - Assisting facilities with responses to government agencies; - Collaborating with internal and external legal teams to manage preservation, data collection, and production; - Providing analysis and developing solutions for the supported legal teams; - Working closely with Chevron business partners, Compliance Regional Managers, Compliance and Trade Analysts, and Chevron counsel to address compliance-related issues; - Ensuring the efficient and appropriate application of Law Function tools, processes, policies, and compliance through matter management. Required Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal supporting litigation and transactional counsel; - Strong organizational, analytical, proofreading, editing, and research skills; - Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain high-quality performance in a fast-paced work environment; - Strong communication skills (both oral and written), collaboration, and interpersonal skills; - Capability to work independently, think critically, and provide solutions; - Demonstrate a growth mindset, initiative, and accountability; - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and a quick learner of new tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree; - Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or a law degree from an ABA-accredited school; - Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Forms, OneNote, PowerBI, and Visio). Relocation Options: Relocation is not available for this position. International Considerations: Expatriate assignments are not an option.
