- Reviewing products, transaction parties, and destinations for global trade compliance.
- Classifying products for import and export purposes.
- Auditing export and import files.
- Collaborating with freight forwarders and Customs brokers when needed to resolve trade compliance issues.
- Obtaining necessary export and import authorizations.
- Providing trade compliance training and consultation to staff on regulations and transaction processes.
- Utilizing trade compliance knowledge to interpret and apply trade regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field; 5+ years of trade compliance experience can be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Preferably holds licenses/certifications like U.S. Licensed Customs Broker or CUSECO Certified.
- 2-4 years of experience in trade compliance, audit, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the company's product offerings is a plus.
- Experience with WESCO ERP systems, including WESNET and Oracle GTM, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Import and Export Processes, including HTS and transaction party roles.
- Experience in International Transportation.

Job Title: Analyst - Trade Compliance at Wesco International, Inc.
As an Analyst - Trade Compliance at Wesco International, Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting and implementing trade compliance procedures to meet the requirements set by regulatory agencies that oversee the import and export of goods.
This includes managing goods to and from the United States, European Union, and United Kingdom, ensuring compliance with various regulations such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security, and more.
You will be responsible for upholding all trade compliance procedures in alignment with Wesco policies, local laws, and international regulations.
