Gaudenzia is now opening our first ever 24/7 walk in Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in the Park Heights, Baltimore area Through our clinic, we will serve individuals of all ages in need of behavioral health services, who are living in the of Baltimore City, including individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorder, co-occurring disorders, emotional disturbances, and/or mental healthreleated crisis. Who Were Looking For

A successful Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or equivalent with at least 5 years experience working, in an outpatient or acute care behavioral health treatment setting (serving verterans, youth and the homeless populations). Seeking licensed clinicians to service our CCBHC (our cornerstone will be a harm reduction, recovery -oriented approach that meets each individual where they are and engages them around their own, self-identified recovery goals. Demonstrated knowledge of working with Criminal Justice involved and/or homeless populations. Seeking someone who enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and doesnt shy away from honest and caring yet sometimes difficult conversations. This position is for you if youre able to treat others with dignity, compassion, and respect, even in lifes most challenging moments. In this role you will provide evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling to individuals with Behavioural Health needs.

What You'll Do At Gaudenzia

1. To evaluate, treat, and diagnose clients who have a mental health disorder or dually-diagnosed
2. Schedule or assist with the scheduling of clinical and/or support staff to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
3. Continue special training in areas designated by the Supervisor.
4. Keep records such as bio-psycho-history & assessments, evaluations and keep client case records current according to the established guidelines.
5. Be a role model for pro-social behaviors.
6. Be available for weekend and/or evening duty.
7. Be responsible for a full client caseload and act as a lead counselor.
8. Support and demonstrate adherence to Gaudenzias Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and all personnel policies and procedures.
9. Be responsible for re-entry residents or others needing advanced care.
10. Maintain a valid drivers license and appropriate professional certificates and credentials.
11. Be responsible for orientation of new staff members when the Supervisor is not available.
12. Moderate special groups such as marathons, extended groups, family meetings, workshops or presentations.
13. All other duties as described in the Unit Unique Job Description or as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications for This Role:

Maryland Education/ Licensure Requirements: LCPC or equivalent with at least 5 years' experience working in an outpatient or acute care Behavioural Health treatment setting.
