Accounting Manager

$100-120k

Malvern PA

Liberty Personnel is working with a global client in Chester County.

Our client is looking to add an 'A' player with excellent communications skills to work with multiple stakeholders to ensure proper accounting treatment of new accounts is in place.

CPA and/or public accounting background with detailed knowledge of GAAP principles is preferred. Experience with large complex entities is ideal.

Responsibilities

Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations.
Review of calculations and analysis of balance sheet accounts.
Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure timely transactions.
Assists with ongoing management of Companys system of internal controls.
Create and document processes and procedures to ensure GAAP compliance for new accounts.

Research and analyze accounting issues and their application to financial reporting and US GAAP compliance and provide findings to Finance/Accounting leadership.

Reviews and recommends modifications to the accounting systems and procedures.
Performs other functions as required and assists on special projects as assigned.

Assists with and supports preparation and integrity of General Ledger, including account analyses, account reconciliation, and review of controls data gathering process.

Qualifications / Experience Desired:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
CPA preferred.
5+ years successful track record of accounting roles of increasing responsibility.
Experience should include public accounting and/or experience in a corporate accounting role in a large company.
Global company background strongly desirable.
Demonstrated knowledge/application of GAAP compliance/related regulations required.
General understanding of contracts a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge financial reporting required.
ERP software background desirable.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.
Proficiency with other Microsoft applications including Word and PowerPoint.
