Overview
DLH is currently seeking an intermediate Business Intelligence Developer to enhance our Financial Reporting Services Team The perfect candidate will be involved in the entire story-telling process, starting from data collection to creating reports and dashboards for our apps.
Utilizing Power BI, you will integrate data from various sources such as SQL Server databases, Excel, QuickBase, SharePoint, and others to generate reports for project teams and executives.
This dynamic position provides the opportunity to collaborate with staff at all levels across our diverse company.Responsibilities
Translate business needs into technical specifications and designs.
Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers.
Create business reports that provide insight into key data points.
Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the company.
Examine data and reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout.
Have analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports.
Have one (1) to three (3) years of experience as a financial or business analyst.
Help identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics.
Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends.
Possess general knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow.
Support and contribute to data collection efforts, as needed.
Utilize data to make actionable recommendations at all levels.
Verify data quality to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
Technical Skills
Three (3) or more years of Power BI Skills required across the following areas:
Power BI Desktop
Power BI Service
Creating and maintaining:
Apps
Reports
Dashboards
Dataflows
Workspace, App, Report, and some Row Level Security experience
Beginning DAX skills; producing measures and calculations using basic DAX
Intermediate Power Query skills; comfortable with extracting, loading, and transforming data using the Power Query editor, visually or with M
Three (3) or more years of Microsoft Excel knowledge
Comfortable creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts
Three (3) or more years of SQL Knowledge (T-SQL is a plus)
Creating and altering views
Select statements

Basic Compensati
on:
$65,000- 85,000 yearly salary
The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates' skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity.
