- Experienced therapist and skilled clinical supervisor who is passionate about quality evidence-based treatment and contributing to the field by training and supervising others.
- Provides day to day clinical and administrative support to master's level clinicians in an Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC).
- Primary responsibilities include clinical supervision of social workers and/or counselors, depending on appropriate Board credentials; compliance with standards of COMAR, CARF, Medicaid, and implementation of relevant policies and procedures.
- The role monitors and oversees the clinical treatment of clients from intake to discharge and ensures appropriate follow up for treatment recommendations including managing levels of care and appropriate referrals.
- Provides oversight of new client intakes, participation in Same Day Access Diagnostic Evaluations and ongoing therapy for a small caseload of clients.
- Master's degree with current licensure in the state of Maryland as an LCPC or LCSW-C and a Board Approved Supervisor.
- Five or more years' experience providing therapy with excellent assessment and diagnostic skills, client engagement and supervision skills.
- Commitment to training staff to use evidence-based treatments and outcome measures. Experience with CBT, MI. Experience with co-occurring disorders (SUD) preferred.
- Ability and strong interest in supervising LM/LG level clinicians and clinical interns.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent people and team skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build positive collaborative relationships with clients and staff and to support a positive strength-based, trauma informed culture.
