The company is headquartered in Houston, TX, and is seeking a Construction Manager to join its team. In this role, you'll handle all aspects of construction for a rapidly growing shopping center company and be based in the Houston HQ office. Travel is necessary (35-40%). The company offers a competitive salary, 401k, & health care.
This executive should have the following experiences and attributes:
• At least 3-5 years of experience working as a construction manager with retail, mall, shopping center, or restaurant construction experience.
• Strong communication skills and a demonstrated team player.
• Experience working with tenants, architects, engineers, and construction managers of national retailers and restaurants.
• Strong organizational skills and experience in managing the paperwork for the complete construction process from estimation & budgeting to the management of the construction process and post-construction punch lists.
• Thrives in a high-performance environment and likes to operate independently.
