Excel Property Management is looking for a detail-oriented Remodeling Construction Manager to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

We seek remodeling construction experts with the necessary training and expertise to guarantee the finest finish that only true professionals can provide.

Our new Construction Manager will effectively oversee the construction of assigned projects, ensuring the timely delivery of a high-quality product to the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each project constructed meets the requirements of the Excel Property Management Quality and City Inspection program.
• Construct each project according to the schedule outlined in the Excel Property Management manual.
• Document and validate all budget variances.
• Attend scheduled Pre-Con & Final Meetings.
• Attend and actively contribute to all Construction team meetings.
• Develop and maintain Excel Property Management Best Practices through participation in ongoing individual and team development, staying informed of industry standards, and suggesting new processes.
• Responsible for field change orders.
• Stay updated on code changes and ensure project compliance.
• Work with thirdparty engineering companies on projects requiring engineering.
• Maintain weekly photo updates of projects.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Five years of construction experience.
• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction processes
• Construction Managers are expected to have knowledge of and keep up to date on the International Residential Code to ensure building compliance.
• Except for Excel Propertyapproved holidays, events, or meetings, Construction Managers are expected to be at their assigned job sites during regular working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mondays through Friday.
• Quality inspection ratings must meet or exceed company and city inspectors' requirements.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Heavy Bid, Prolog, Procore, Microsoft Project, or Primavera.
• It is expected that the Construction Manager will be at each of their job sites every day.
• Must have and maintain a current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record, which remain insurable under the company's liability insurance policy.

$50, $60,000.00 per year
