    The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

    Job Purpose:

    We currently have a vacancy for a Associate Program Manager. This position is based in our Fremont facility in the heart of Silicon Valley.This position is responsible for all aspects of a program at the site, serving as the site liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer needs are met. Ensures all program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer's contract. Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order. Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E&O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA's), and business development.

    Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Managing and developing project plans.
    • Manage the activities of a cross functional team(s) to ensure completion of the project on time.
    • Review status with the customer and the management team.
    • Understand and drive written understanding of the project and develop Contract/MSA terms with customer and the business development team.
    • Maintain good customer relationship to avoid escalations.
    • Drive effective meetings with both internal and external teams.
    • Timely resolution of issues and escalation as soon as it is required to avoid delays in project completion.
    • Ensure timely implementation of ECOs.
    • Ensure proper closure of customer related A/R issues.
    • Responsible for all aspects of a program at the site, serving as the site liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer needs are met.
    • Ensures all program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer's contract.
    • Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order.
    • Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E&O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA's), and business development.
    • Understands Sanmina offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina products or services.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in program manager.
    • Experience in the mechanical and electrical as well as integration.
    • Contract MFG/CNC Machining/Mechanical Assembly experience desired.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to multitask.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint, ect).
    • Team Player.
    This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

    Salary Range (annual): $ 62,000 - $78,000
