    Description

    We are seeking a full-time LEGAL RECEPTIONIST to provide front desk coverage at our brand new location at 608 Frederica St, Ste 201, Owensboro, KY.

    As a legal receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our firm and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks such as welcoming clients, answering and re-directing phone calls, and distributing correspondences and daily mail.

    To be successful as a LEGAL RECEPTIONIST, you should have a pleasant personality and be able to be both adaptable and flexible to our growing firm. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.

    Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
    • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
    • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
    • Ensure reception area is tidy & presentable
    • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
    • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
    • Update calendars and schedule meetings
    • Perform and assist with miscellaneous clerical items

    Skills

    • Professional and customer service oriented attitude and appearance
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Adaptability and flexibility in a growing business are a must
    • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Microsoft Office 365 experience a plus
    • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
    • Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role a plus
    • High school degree

    Schedule:

    • 7.5 hour shift
    • Monday-Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm)
