    Job Title: Receptionist/Cashier

    Job Description:

    Louf Fusz Mazda of Evansville is seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative and clerical tasks while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment. The role involves multitasking, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.

    This job description outlines the primary duties and qualifications for the Receptionist/Cashier position. However, additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the demands of the dealership operations. The successful candidate will be a flexible team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence in customer service and administrative support.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Stocking in New Vehicles: Receive and process incoming inventory of new vehicles. Ensure accurate documentation and proper storage of vehicle information.
    2. Daily Deposit: Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Prepare daily deposits and reconcile transactions with accounting records.
    3. Dealer Trade Paperwork: Coordinate with other dealerships to facilitate vehicle trades. Prepare necessary paperwork and documentation for trade transactions.
    4. Creating Repair Orders: Assist service department by creating repair orders for customers' vehicles. Gather necessary information and ensure accurate documentation of service requests.
    5. Scanning and Uploading Warranty Claims: Manage warranty claims by scanning and uploading documents into the appropriate systems. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and deadlines.
    6. Making Accounting Entries: Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records.
    7. Filing: Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems. Ensure documents are filed accurately and are easily accessible when needed.
    Requirements:
    1. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
    2. Proficiency in basic accounting principles and procedures.
    3. Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software.
    4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    6. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
    8. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in business administration or related field is a plus.
