- Utilize accounts payable (A/P) concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Research vendor statements for past due invoices and compare against receiving for past due purchase orders.
- Ensure approvals on each invoice adheres to approval authority matrix if not on PO.
- File and/or scan A/P check stubs, invoices, and receiving documents.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with sales and use tax filings.
- Assist with reviewing expense reports.
- Assist the Receptionist with the switchboard.
- Work on additional special projects as needed.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in accounting or finance.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
