Description
We are currently hiring aContinuous Improvement Manager
to support a well-known food manufacturer in Everett, WA. In this position, you will be able to identify and implement change to increase efficiency within a manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of $120,000- $140,000 annually with benefits.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develops, enhances, and implements systems that increase efficiency and optimize all phases of service or production processes, from design to manufacturing.
Oversees process design projects, and ensures the efficient and safe functioning of all the processes related to producing a product, substance, or service.
Designs processes and equipment related to the development and commercialization of products or services that are cost effective and in keeping with a given budget.
Evaluates existing processes, suggests measures for improvement, and configures manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, boost productivity, quality, and profitability, and develop best practices within the production process.
Implements methods and process designs, creates prototypes, tests, and makes necessary modifications where required.Qualifications:
BS Engineering or equivalent experience
Excellent analytical and math skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
Strong attention to detail
Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
Proficient with computer and information technology
Knowledge of process engineering software systems
