As a Berlin-based boutique personnel consultancy, we are searching for our client, a company in the digital industry located in the heart of Berlin, for the perfect candidate for the position of Head of Accounting (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the accounting department
Review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
Cash flow planning
Management of the accounting team (6 employees and growing)
Process optimization and project management for accounting
Point of contact for tax consultants, auditors, and other external service providers

Qualifications:

Several years of professional experience in general accounting/financial accounting
Leadership experience in accounting
Solid knowledge of all relevant accounting processes
Independent and structured way of working
Strong affinity for numbers
Proficient in using computer systems and MS Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
