    Job Title: Service Coordinator

    Department: Virginia Service Department

    Location: Ashland, Virginia

    Reports To: Service Manager

    Job Overview:

    The Service Coordinator is a highly motivated individual who provides support to customers, service technicians, and management to ensure the effective coordination and documentation of service work, including all phone and email communication as required. The Service Coordinator is often the first point of contact for customers with service and repair needs and requires a professional with strong customer service and organizational skills. A commitment to excellent customer service, the ability to
    work with a team, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this position. This person would need to be capable of filling in at times that the service manager is out of the office, in the field, sometimes for a period of a week or more.

    • Telephone & email reception for incoming service calls
    • Possess a High School Diploma, 2 or 4-year degree preferred*
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in a customer service role for mechanical equipment is a plus*
    • Excellent computer proficiency is required, advanced Microsoft Excel preferred*
    • College degree or administrative experience in a business environment preferred*
    • Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test

    Scope of Responsibility:

    • Satisfy customer requirements, while providing an exceptional customer experience
    • Prepare service quotations and estimates
    • Schedule service calls for technicians
    • Take service calls via phone and e-mails
    • Order replacement parts for service calls, repairs, and pm service contracts
    • Enter and close service jobs on the Sentrien computer program
    • Research parts needed for quotes, repairs, and pm contracts
    • Customer service follow-up after completion of jobs
    • Cross-train with other service coordinators
    • Perform all other duties as assigned
