- Act as primary POC for customers engaging the Corporate office.
- Outbound phone and email to prospective and past customers to provide rates quotes and service offerings.
- Inbound phone and email exchanges with current customers to provide updates on billings, services, and shipping updates.
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding rate quotes by analyzing key pricing indicators and industry benchmarks.
- Upload and verify the accuracy of all customer information within the internal database. Report any updates to the appropriate department.
- Partner with the Pricing Department to obtain accurate rate quotes and act as a liaison in negotiations with customers if required.
- Be the primary POC for customers related to service contracts and keep customers informed about any updates to their service agreements.
- Follows up on pending rate quotes, recording customer feedback in the internal system for future reference.
- Partner with the Collections Department on new customer details for credit approval and assist in resolving any delinquent invoice issues.
- Provides comprehensive customer service and booking assistance to the customer service team as needed.
- Recognizes that duties outlined in this description are not exhaustive and may evolve according to the evolving needs of the company.
- Bachelors Degree REQUIRED
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook
- Strong communication skills demonstrated both orally and in writing
- Previous logistics, tracking dispatching, rate quote experience preferred
