- Maintain regular office hours and be available to provide help for students.
- Be willing to learn and use the Electronic Media.
- Attendance at New Faculty Orientation sessions required.
- Accept other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or progress towards completion of a Master's degree in Nursing. Three years current nursing practice in a variety of settings.
- Six (6) years recent successful full-time paid clinical experience in a health care facility or nurse educator experience preferred.
- RN currently registered in Utah or eligible for current licensure in Utah required.
- Teaching or extensive clinical experience preferred.
- Preference will be given to strong medical/surgical high facuity nursing experience

Under general supervision the instructor you will teach various classes in nursing skills to Associate Degree and Practical Nursing students.
In these programs, you will prepare students to qualify for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) which will qualify graduates as health care providers in their prospective level of preparation.
As a Faculty member, you may be assigned to any SLCC location.Essential Responsibilities and Duties
