    Status: HOURLY, Full Time, non-exempt

    Job Duties:
    Maintain and improve the building condition and equipment functionality within the store. You will perform maintenance tasks ranging from basic adjusting, fixing and replacing of components, landscaping, plumbing, electrical work, and demolition and installation of products. Identify and report on areas and components that will need fixing. The goal is to maintain the buildings, equipment and common areas in the best possible condition.
    Responsibilities


    •Will receive Daily Assignments from Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate work shift for the Day.

    •Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with company, health and safety standards

    •Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)

    •Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

    •Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality

    •Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed

    •Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)

    •Conduct general upkeep procedures ( landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)

    •Maintain company issued tools, equipment in good working order
    Requirements

    •Good Writing, Reading, Diagram understanding, and Verbal communication.

    •Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems

    •Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

    •Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices

    •Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

    •Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime

    •High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus

    •Good understanding of safety for employees, customers, vendors

    Indoor and outdoor lighting, Day and or Night
    climb ladders and work at heights and confined areas
    fine hand dexterity to turn hand tools
    independently travel between job sites and transport necessary tools to and from jobsite
