The Facilities Technician will safely and effectively perform general, corrective, preventative, and other types of facilities maintenance duties on a large, multi
- building campus site.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely maintain the facility in accordance with all applicable government and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate safety behaviors. Identify and assess safety hazards and risks. Follow and enforce safety rules. Participate in the investigation of incidents.
  • You will support the team with employee moves, events, visitors, shipping or receiving, and all other related tasks.
  • Conduct routine office maintenance including mounting of TV's, whiteboards, setting up new hire workstations, assembling office furniture, carpentry, and patch and paint tasks.
  • Receive and respond to facilities requests for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or any office and warehouse maintenance requests.
  • Meet with onsite vendors, engage vendors when needed for pricing on materials and other needs on projects that align with internal budget.
  • Conduct site supervision of contractors when needed and continuously observe sites for improvements.
  • Identify potential problems and adjust to correct, or otherwise troubleshoot, formulate, and execute solutions for corrective repair.
  • Perform all other maintenancerelated tasks as directed.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Safety first attitude required. Ability to perform all work using the proper personnel protective equipment (PPE) and in strict accordance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and best practices required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience maintaining commercial/industrial/office buildings is required.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents such as operating manuals and architectural/mechanical/electrical/plumbing plans and blueprints are required.
  • Ability to systematically identify, analyze and solve maintenance problems required.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc. required.
  • Ability to walk a large, campuslike setting, climb stairs, work on a ladder, operate electric hand tools, carry tools, lift, and carry heavy loads, operate a motor vehicle, and navigating rooftops to access equipment required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Subject to be on call for equipment/systems/building emergency response 24 hours per day and working in all weather conditions required.
  • Ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and valued team member required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, multitask work assignments, and strong time management required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office programs, such as Teams, Outlook are required.
  • Understanding of basic refrigeration and air conditioning systems preferred.
  • 608 EPA Universal Certification preferred.
  • Experience with building automation systems preferred.
  • Experience with multisite building operations preferred.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Two years or more in Facilities or Building Maintenance
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English/Spanish fluently.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, contractors, and upper management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workflow.
  • Able to take initiative and execute assigned tasks in a timely and flawless manner.
  • Strong teamwork ethic with a profound ability to work under extreme pressure.

  • Friday 7:00 am 3:30 pm. (Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.)

Pay:
$50, $55,465.01 per year
