    Description

    Optima Partners is searching for an Associate Consultant to assist clients with regulatory compliance matters within the asset management industry, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and more.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Manage a diverse client portfolio as the main day-to-day contact
    • Understanding of practical compliance and regulatory aspects such as SEC regulations
    • Familiarity with CFTC, NFA, FINRA rules, and other regulatory bodies is advantageous
    • Experience in regulatory mock examinations, including documentation, onsite reviews, and report drafting
    • Ability to support compliance protocols and training on various topics
    • Identify and address client regulatory risks effectively
    • Stay updated on current regulatory changes and trends
    • Experience with ADVs, Form PFS, and other regulatory filings

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees are a plus
    • Minimum of 2 years of compliance experience in the financial industry
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical and research abilities
    • Capacity to prioritize tasks in a team setting
    • Quickly adapt and learn new tasks
    • Ability to commence work promptly with minimal constraints

    This position offers a hybrid work setup and is open to candidates located in New York.
