    As our Clinical Appeals Coordinator, you will help clinical AR and Denials do workflow management, accounts referral validation and productivity monitoring so that we can deliver on the mission to drive revenue recovery.

    Every day you will, evaluate, validate, and direct account assignment to clinician and clinical coders to appeal. To thrive in this role, you must be analytical, organized with strong time management skills.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    + Be able to identify different types of hospital documentation including, but not limited to, medical records, UB-04s, EOBs, itemized bills, hospital account notes, appeal letters, and denial/approval letters. + Utilize workflow tool to assign appropriate accounts to Clinical and Clinical Coding Appeal Authors. + Ensure that all required documentation is present in the account when referred to a Clinical or Clinical Coding Appeal Author. + Ensure that assigned accounts are prioritized based on appeal deadline, dollar amount, and client specific needs. + Conduct daily audits to ensure that all accounts are being handled in a timely manner and appeal deadlines are maintained. + Assist leadership with Clinical Department staff productivity calculations. + Assist with the organization and maintenance of the Clinical Reviewer Training Folder and ensure subscriptions for all clinical tools remain up to date. + Assist department leadership with agenda development and material preparation for meetings. + Support interdepartmental discussions to increase efficiencies in workflow. + Ensure professional and HIPAA compliant documentation practices. + Meet all weekly performance standards and goals set by management.


    Required Qualifications:
    + Associates or technical degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. For this US-based position, the base pay range is $ $20.95. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
