Join us. About the Team The global eCommerce US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok.

The role is responsible for building the TikTok Ecommerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. TikTok is seeking an experienced Project Manager Team Leader to work in our US Ecommerce team on a variety of Operations Strategy initiatives and projects. You will have an immediate impact on TikTokShop US operations team; improving productivity via streamlining initiatives, overseeing key strategic projects and facilitating efficient cross-function operations. Your interest and professional expertise are related to strategy planning, building cross-functional collaboration, communications, project management, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, who is a strong owner, and able to deliver results in an ambiguous environment. They will think strategically and long-term, being able to pinpoint the most valuable business opportunities and identify areas for improvement. Having effective and clear communication skills, especially in conveying strategic plans through written documentation, are vital.

Additionally, candidates must exhibit a track record of successfully driving complex projects and initiatives while effectively managing senior stakeholders

• As a leader, we expect the ccd will lead a pod of domain, set up the pod strategy, build up the team and coach team members and other team management work.
• Developing deep SME-level knowledge across all business operations building
• Building close relationships with all cross-functional partners to understand respective business units and priorities
• Identify new/existing opportunities to improve operational strategies, drive efficiency and increase productivity
• Establish best in class frameworks for cross functional ways of working
• Project manages strategic business initiatives and projects:
• Define objectives, strategy and goals
• Build a roadmap of key deliverables
• Develop and implement timelines
• Implement effective mechanisms to keep projects on track
• Serve as a project level SME, handling inquiries and developing action plans
• Assist with the preparation and dissemination of communications
• Report performance

Projects will be defined based on 2 directions 1. Business strategy & planning related projects 2. Cross-Functional Network (such as Ecommerce Governance and Experience teams, product teams) related projects

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Established Group/Team Lead experience in program or project management, consultancy, change management, or operations strategy
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Experience in process optimization and scaling of efficiency initiatives
• Expert in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Project

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Ecommerce or Tech organizations is preferred
• Experience working in matrix, and/or global organizations
• Creative, outside-the-box thinker and strategist

Job Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $273600 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
