    Description
    Asbestos Experts a leading Asbestos Abatement contractor, is looking for a full-time Production Manager. The following is a general outline of what is required of the candidate


    Job Description:
    The Production Manager's main responsibility is to direct and coordinate the overall Production of an organization.

    This person will be responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

    Our standard hours of operation are M-F 7am-5pm, however considering the nature of our business it is not unusual to work outside of these hours as needed.


    Responsibilities:

    • Bring forth information to management to formulate objectives and understand
    requirements.


    • Estimate costs and prepare bids.
    • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
    • Monitor production to resolve issues
    • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
    • Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
    • Ensuring all safety & health standards are met to keep us accident & fine free.
    • Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for
    opportunities of improvement or revision.


    • Manages day to day business of the operations department while balancing the
    responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor, and


    • Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing
    change control processes.


    • Works closely with GM on other special planning and departmental projects.
    • Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
    • Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
    • Collaborates with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution,
    reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values.


    • Collaborates with transitions and onboarding team as needed.
    • Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves issues of medium
    complexity and escalates to appropriate levels when required.


    • Assesses a variety of situations and provide clarity to team
    • Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal
    business lines, and external vendors.


    • Supports back-office and firm-wide training programs, reinforcing tech and operations
    infrastructure between departments to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.


    • Hire, onboard, and train new personnell as needed (specifically with upper management
    positions) Support back office and other departments with staffing needs as they arise


    • Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.
    • Works closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and
    compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to

    regulatory-based best practices.


    Job Type:
    Full-time


    Pay:
    $60, $65,000.00 per year
