Position: Construction Equipment Shop Service Technician

Chappell Tractor has an opening in our Service Department located in Milford, NH for a Shop Service Technician. The position involves preparing units for delivery and performing periodic service & maintenance. Repairing equipment including engine, transmission, rear/front axle and hydraulic cylinder overhaul. Diagnose and repair light construction equipment in the shop.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have prior experience working as a Technician in a service department at an equipment, truck or automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will have graduated from a technical or vocational school and be knowledgeable with all major mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in this type of equipment. Experience servicing diesel engines and welding is a plus.

Looking for an individual who is knowledgeable, organized, pays attention to detail, and who has a positive attitude helping customers solve their equipment problems.
