    Inventory Systems Analyst

    Department: Corporate


    Location: NEWTON, NC


    Job Description*This position is responsible for managing/ordering replacement inventory for SFS branch locations, ensuring the accuracy of inventory billing to external customers, collaborating with location managers to set up and maintain standard levels of tire inventories as well as cultivating and establishing relationships with local vendors. Additionally, this role will assist the Field Systems Manager in all duties related to inventory analysis, data entry, reporting and research.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Adheres to all policies, procedures and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.
    • Maintaining Product numbers and pricing files.
    • Setup and maintain BTN retread product files.
    • Correct all retread interface errors.
    • Responsibility for the inventory, performing monthly inventories.
    • Managing the Purchase Order process, Outside Special Purchases, adhering to Sniders policies.
    • Supply inventory for all locations to include Commercial and Tracs
    • Responsible for managing and reducing the non-movement inventory amount.
    • Properly and efficiently track all inventory available and on order with ETA.
    • Keeping location, Managers up to date on status of inventory.
    • Check and monitor inventory on a daily basis to prevent depletion of inventory commonly used.
    • Effectively communicate all necessary information with location managers, in order to ensure proper inventory is ordered and or received.
    • Responsible for understanding, as well as, providing management with inventory reports as needed.

    Qualifications*
    Education or Experience:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • At least 2 years' experience within the industry or a related management position.
    • Must have a clean driving record.
    • Associates Degree preferred

    Certificates and Licenses:

    • Valid Class C Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards.

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
    • Intermediate Excel skills/strong reporting skills
    • Experience utilizing an ERP system such as SAP or AS400
    • Superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
    • Must have strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as, close
    attention to detail.

    • Reliable and dependable with self-initiative.
    • Superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
    .

    • Ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
    • Ability to use all necessary office equipment, scanner, facsimile machines, calculators,
    postage machines, copiers, etc.

    • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
    • Ability to work overtime as needed, based on department needs.

    Working Conditions*This position will primarily work in the Newton Corporate office with limited travel to branch locations as needed for Inventory inspections or Audits.
