- The client is seeking a senior IT Systems Analyst to perform Analytical and Technical work related to enhancements and operations of the Managed Care Transformation.
- This position will need to work with multiple vendors, division staff, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and provide technical support/guidance.
- This position involves the ability to research and analyze complex healthcare data from a variety of sources to evaluate, define, design, and implement technical solutions based on Federal and State Medicaid requirements.
- This position is responsible for the design and development of the interfaces across Medicaid internal and external.
- In addition, this position is responsible for creating and delivering reports and metrics using various SAS Business Intelligence tools utilizing data and information from the NC Analytics Data warehouse.
- This position will also need to work with SQL queries to analyze data and create ad-hoc reports to support Business needs and requests.
- This involves validating input files and formats as per the data mapping artifacts, architecting output datasets, and validating data based on the requirements, and quality assurance of data.
- This position prefers experience working with Single Sign On applications and knowledge of the States NCID system for login.
- Excellent written and oral communication and ability to facilitate small to large meetings Required.
- Managing and Working with Multiple Vendors.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements and developing business rules and process flows.
- Demonstrated proficiency working with one or more databases - Oracle, and MS SQL Server.
- Experience developing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience in different file transfer methodologies and different file types and layouts such as CSV, TXT, XML, etc.
- Proven experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
- bility to communicate effectively and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
