- File taxes: individuals, S-Corp, C-Corp, Exempt Organizations and Fiduciary
- Communicate with tax authorities when necessary.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review budgets.
- Maintain and update accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Deep knowledge of Quickbooks, LaCerte, ADP, Excel, Word and SmartVault.
- Bachelor's degree (Required) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license/EA (Preferred)
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in an Accountant role or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
