    This exciting rapidly growing business is a FTSE UK listed global group and a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing and development solutions for the global automotive industry.

    The Role
    In this newly created site-based role reporting to the Regional Controller, your focus will be on the daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations of the accounting team including:
    Assisting with month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
    Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and Trial Balance.
    Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
    Preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP standards.
    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, accurately recording and reconciling invoices and payments.
    Assisted with budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing variances and providing recommendations for improvement.
    Participating in inventory management activities, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of inventory transactions.
    Supporting external audit activities by providing documentation as needed.
    Collaborating with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
    Your Background
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
    In depth knowledge of GAAP
    Minimum 5 years related experience
    Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, industrial environment with inventory holdings
    Experience in filing sales and use tax returns
    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
    2+ years experience with QuickBooks
    Ability to multi-task and to prioritize
    Detail oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills
    Excellent problem solving and communication skills
    Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
