Senior SEC Accountant - Torrance, United States - Solomon Page
Description
We are assisting a public consumer products company with their search for a Senior SEC Accountant. Our client is based in South Los Angeles County and they are committed to a hybrid work schedule.Responsibilities:
Assist with internal and external reporting
Accounting research
Consolidation analyses
Assist during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles
Preparation of journal entries
Account reconciliations
Consolidation analyses and other analyses as needed
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of combined corporate and public accounting experience, or public accounting experience
SEC Reporting Experience and/or experience with SEC filers
Writing detailed technical memos on complex accounting issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's (BS/BA/BBA) degree in Accounting
CPA license or CPA license in process with requisite amount of experience
