    ** Entree Cook**

    New Casa de las Campanas, a Life Plan Senior community located in Rancho Bernardo, is seeking a talented Entre Cook to join our busy production kitchen team.

    **Essential duties and responsibilities**: include but not limited to:

    Responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner meals as well as overseeing all food production

    Prepares and cooks appetizing, nutritious food for residents and catered events

    Preparation of hot and cold foods (soups, sauces, salads, starches, vegetables, purees, grounds, fortified goods, garnishes and desserts, etc.)

    Set up and maintenance of all assigned food serving stations

    Ability to manage multiple types of food stations in accordance with safety standards

    **Wage Range:** $17 to $20 per hour, based on years of experience and/or experience in Senior Living environment.

    **Minimum requirements**:

    A minimum of four years of experience in a high volume production kitchen and/or comparable culinary school experience

    Able to work at various food preparation stations

    Available to work holidays and weekends as needed

    Able to meet physical demands including lifting/carrying of 50 lbs. or more

    Great customer service skills

    Able to communicate, including reading and writing in English
