    Description
    Support Center - Irving

    The Product Manager will own one or more product features. With guidance, lead project execution with support from the manager and represents their feature(s) within the cross-functional team, and proposes new feature ideas. The role will informally coach interns and associate PMs.

    Major Activities
    • Actively seek out customer insights to make decisions
    • Identify potential contradictory customer insights and raises them for discussion and additional analysis
    • Anticipate customer benefits and/or pain points
    • Contribute to the development of new cross-dependencies product strategies
    • Collaborate with cross-domain/regional partners in public relations, customer support, marketing, and business units on key messages for product changes
    • Achieve expected business results
    • Understand how product decisions impact other domains and geographies
    • Benchmark ideas against global competitive trends and evolving customer needs
    • Ability to visually articulate product ideas
    • Manager a backlog of requirements across multiple projects
    • Conceptualize and describe complex problems
    • Analyze data for multiple scenarios to identify root causes
    • Understand, interpret and challenge test results
    • Comprehend potential impacts on site operations
    • Capture technical designs effectively in collaboration with development partners and operations
    • Specify test cases for full product feature scope
    • Create a project plan and launch product changes with minimal guidance
    • Demonstrate a basic understanding of the web, mobile, database, and transactional technologies
    • Develop valid expectations about the technical difficulty of product ideas
    • Practice sound judgment in selecting the appropriate communications medium
    • Explain product features at an expert level
    • Effectively work with a small cross-functional product team
    • Assist to create a productive team environment
    • Influence decision-making within the cross-functional product team
    • Ability to develop contingency plans
    Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or Business
    • Delivery of product feature(s) and/or analysis or research in support of feature requirements as an IC
    • Must have influence and creditability with engineers
    • Empathetic to customer experience down to the smallest detail with product design and requirements discovery
    • Understand customer problems
    • Breakdown software development and create an iterative development process and prioritization criteria
    • All sprints, and demos through Jira - using Jira to track progress
    • Clear documentation on products
    • Execute with excellence
    • Define clear DoD for completion and KPIs for success and hold the team accountable
    • Customer engagement to collect product requirements
    • Customer engagement during design and execution phases
    • Customer engagement post-release
    • Articulate and precise written and verbal communication to customers
    • Communication to VP and C+ level: Tech, Business, Finance/Corp
    • Create a culture of transparency, trust, and respect
    • Be firm without being pushy
    • Scope well, do not overpromise or underdeliver
    • Calm poise under stressful situations
    • Curious and willing to learn
    • Exceptional customer service, listening, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Three to Five (3-5) years of previous experience in an office environment with a demonstration of the requisites and superior delivery of services
    Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    Preferred Education
    • Master's degree in computer science or Business
    Preferred Special Certifications or Technical Skills
    • Optional PMI
    • Familiarity with programming languages
